Last year I graduated from college with a degree in Digital Marketing. When I started looking for a job, I realized that it was not as easy as I thought it would be. Hiring companies want to see relevant experience, which I didn’t have!
Studying digital marketing and practicing digital marketing are two different things. I applied for an apprenticeship to gain hands-on experience that I was missing, and this is where Trent’s and my path were crossed. Trent was my first mentor, and DropshipXL was my first apprenticeship.
During my apprenticeship, he was extremely supportive with the entire learning process. We had a weekly hour-long call where he walked me through various processes. He provided guidance on how to implement social marketing strategies, how to launch an email marketing campaign, and taught me SEO.
In addition, I learned how to implement marketing tools such as Ahrefs, Aweber, and many others and how to use WordPress. I was impressed with how knowledgeable Trent is. He not only helped me to gain hands-on marketing experience but also made me more confident in my professional skills. Confidence is the essential part of success. I feel confident that the skills that I’ve developed will help me in my professional career.
