Are you a photographer? Did you know that you can use WordPress to easily set up and operate your entire photography business online? I recently completed a project for my wife who is a family photographer that I wanted to tell you about. I had alot of fun setting up and integrating the WordPress site for her and she loves it. She was initially using blogger and she admits now that WordPress is by far better than blogger. Go ahead and check out her website and tell me what you think. If you too want to have your own WordPress photography website set up please contact me telling me what you’d like to see and I’ll respond asap with details and pricing.

Go here to visit Marcie’s WordPress Photography website

Here’s a synopsis from Marcie’s website about her and her photography style:

My Photography Story:

I’m a self-taught photographer who has read pretty much every book the library has on photography. I spent about two years passionately learning, reading, googling everything I could about taking better pictures … and tried to do my best with my trusty old Sony Cybershot. The day I finally got my first SLR camera with my lovely 50 mm 1.4 lens was like a dream come true! Finally I could put into practice all those things I had been reading about! I have a healthy obsession with bokeh and couldn’t believe what a joy it was to take pictures with that lovely blur in the background. Not long after I started my photography business and have enjoyed every minute of the journey! I am a manual snob (in a good way ) and keep the dial on the “M” even when I’m at home sitting in my living room. Once I learned how to create the images I loved it was impossible to go back to letting the camera think for me.

My Style:

I believe in a good mix of candid and posed portraits. I personally love to have those adorable posed pictures of my kids – they’re looking right at the camera with their lovely bright eyes and they are smiling so sweetly. Those pictures I treasure because they capture that cute dimple, or the toothy grin … it’s how my family looks (all cleaned up and dressed cute of course BUT with that said, I absolutely adore the candid pictures; My husband laughing with my son, my daughter kissing the baby. Those pictures tell more than the cute smile. Those pictures reveal their personality, and WHO they are at that moment in time. So as a photographer I love to be able to capture those real moments and those sweet smiles to give you a nice mix of art to choose for your home, pictures to scrapbook or share with family

.

A little (more) about me:

I’m a wife to an incredible hard-working hunksband and mother to three beautiful children, ages 5, 3 and 1. My family is my first passion, and capturing them on camera (constantly is a close second. I love a good book and think a trip to the library (followed by some naughty food like chocolate or French fries) is a wonderful way to take a break. In my spare time I blog every little detail of my family’s life – in hopes that I might someday force future sons and daughters in-law to sit through all 100 of our blog books. I love to spend my time outdoors with my family and would prefer living in a tree house (if it weren’t for the bugs .. and wild animals). I enjoy DIY magazines, carbonated juice and date night.

The primary objective of this site is to create an environment for you and I to share personal experience and objective though on how to combat lipoma through nutritional therapy. I have a passion for learning and applying the knowledge within the nutritional therapy and health sciences world.

This site is just one of my efforts in sharing this passion with others. I enjoy approaching health issues using nutritional therapy as my first line of defense. Read more here about nutritional therapy.

If you have hard skin lumps on your body that don’t hurt and are movable you may have “Lipoma” or a case of “Lipomatosis”. If you just recently discovered a hard fat deposit or hard fatty lump underneath your skin you may be worried just like I was. All kinds of thoughts initially go through your mind about it being cancer and who knows what else the imagination can dream up. The good thing about Lipoma is that from what I’ve researched there’s nothing to be afraid about; you can just ignore them or you can find ways to remove them through surgery or find other means that have yet to be discovered. The latter objective is what intrigues me the most.

I set up this site to share my thoughts, experiences about lipoma, and to provide a place where we can share thoughts and personal experiences about what we are going through as it pertains to combating challenges with lipoma.

Additionally, I’d like to create an environment for people like you and I to provide objective thought and personal experiences into the different things we are doing, eating, thinking, or a combination thereof etc.. that causes a size reduction in the lipoma or halting the growth of these hard fat lumps under the skin without surgery. Taking this approach may or may not remove the lipomas from our body but you never know, that’s the cool thing about experimenting. And since lipoma is not a threat or sign of death and major disease, it’s easy to experiment using nutritional approaches first. The side effects of testing things out I believe can only benefit us.

The theory I would love to prove as it relates to the removal of lipoma is: If lipoma growth occurs because certain genes in the body are being expressed/activated, can be these same genes be positively influenced to stop, or even reverse the growth of these annoying fat desposits under the skin?

Six years ago I came across a book called “The China Study”. In this book the author shares one of the most amazing nutrition principles I have come across. Here it is: “The same nutrition that prevents disease in its early stages (before diagnosis) can also halt or reverse disease in its later stages (after diagnosis).

With that said start now and read the ideas, discoveries, solutions etc. that I share on the blog and begin today sharing your own experiences, objective/rational thought and solutions about how you think lipoma can be removed or reduced using nutritional therapy. I look forward to interacting with you online!

Welcome to Sewingtink, where magical things are made! My nickname growing up was “tink” and from a very young age I loved to sew; hence, the name SewingTink. My mother was my most wonderful teacher. Believe it or not I learned to sew on a treadle Singer machine. Back then my mother had an older Adler machine that I sewed on. From the time I was in Jr. High I was sewing my own clothes. By the time I was in High School I was sewing all my prom dresses and some for my sisters as well. I managed to save a beautiful jacket I made for my advanced sewing class. Unfortunately all my other dresses have been given away. I majored in Home Economics in college at BYU in Provo, Utah. I thoroughly loved pattern design and making my own designs. After I got married I made clothes for my boys and girls. At Easter the boys would get new shorts and a T-shirt and the girls received dresses. I was able to get a job working at home sewing dance and active wear for a manufacturer that sold to stores like ZCMI and Nordstrom.

When my girls started taking a dance class I started sewing dance costumes. I did this for almost 10 years. I loved it, but it was pretty hard with a growing family. All along I had been doing alterations for people. I turned this into a part time job from home and have been doing alterations for 13 plus years now. After a miraculous recovery from ovarian cancer in 2007 and the chemo that followed I decided it was time to share my talent with the world in a greater measure. With the help of my amazingly talented family I am now ready to launch my web site. I am pretty excited!

I enjoy running my own ship; creating and promoting whatever I dream of to benefit my clients. My goal is to make items that are useful, comfortable and fashionable and yes, magical! I hope you will enjoy staying in touch and trying out the many wonderful items I have so far. I also want to make available sewing tips and other household and cooking tips, so be sure to visit this site often. Registering for FREE tips and updates can be done by going on my home page.

Now, a little about my personal life: I have been married to the same wonderful man for 34 years. We have 6 amazing children and almost 6 grandchildren. Life is wonderful. I have many blessings in my life. I also enjoy reading, cooking and playing the violin. I have been a member of the Riverton Metropolitan Orchestra for 10 years. The activity I love most is spending time with my family. We have some really fun times together.

Dale Jessee is a Contemporary New Age Piano Player & Composer. His music is an outburst of his soul that reflects his passion, energy and creativity. Dale’s compositions and arrangements bring about an invigorating breath of fresh air to the New Age Genre.

Ever since his mom revealed this timeless secret: “Girls love guys who can play the piano,” Dale was never one to be forced to practice. The act of competing to memorize more songs than his older brother also drove him to practice anywhere from six to eight hours a day! He began lessons at the age of five, proceeding until he was twelve, when he took a musical hiatus. He was tired of feeling forced to play music that was BORING. This feeling remained until the age of fourteen when he came across the music of David Lanz, a New Age Piano Pioneer. Lanz’s style of music fostered a new musical breeding ground for Dale’s passion.

Thus began the journey. Suddenly on a musical high, he focused his energy on composing. Three years later his first album was recorded. Dale was later accepted to Tuacahn High School for the performing arts where he was able to further explore his creative musical talent. There his music was developed and nurtured. He was in numerous plays and talent shows, and received top honors in state-wide competitions.

After graduating, he returned home to Riverton, UT where he embarked on a new adventure of studying with Paul Pollei. Pollei, the founder of the world renowned Gina Bauchauer competition, recognized Dale’s unique talent and invited him to be on the judging panel. At age nineteen, Dale received his mission call to Roseville, CA where he served for two years for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He continued to share his talent while on his mission, inspiring many.

After his mission, Dale made a leap of faith and continued to pursue his dream of making his mark in the music world. Since then, Dale has composed 55 original songs and has arranged 35 more. He continues to work on his music in hopes of inspiring others. Dale currently resides in Riverton, UT with his lovely wife.
